Project Timeline
The Beginning
We begin our working relationship with a 20-minute discovery call to ensure that we fully understand the scope of your project. If you decide to proceed, we move into our 5-step design process by sending you a project inquiry questionnaire to be completed before our first meeting.
1. Initial On-Site Meeting
During our initial design meeting, we will walk the property and get to know each other. We will have a detailed conversation about your vision, goals, and priorities for the landscape. We’ll delve deeper into your client questionnaire responses to better understand your needs and preferences. After the meeting, we will send you a design agreement tailored to your specific design needs for you to review.
2. Site Documentation
Our team will evaluate the site requirements and existing elements to form an accurate base to begin the concept plan.
3. Concept Design Phase
In the studio as well as on-site, we will use the information gathered during the initial consultation, the client questionnaire, and the image study, to bring your visions to life.
4. Concept Design Meeting
We will present to you a personalized and inspiring design that showcases the layout of your landscape and hardscape features such as patios, walkways, plant beds, and retaining walls. Your input is highly encouraged as it ensures we’re heading in the right direction and staying within your desired timeframe and budget.
5. Final Design Plan Presentation
Following our concept meeting, we will create the final rendered plan, incorporating specific hardscape material choices, plant selections, and construction details based on the feedback received during the concept meeting. Hardscape and planting plans are included. The outdoor kitchen, water feature(s), deck(s), pergola, patio(s), fire element(s), and planting plan are shown in detail. During this meeting, your designer will also present a construction estimate that aligns with your budget and phasing preferences. We will collaborate closely with you throughout the construction process to ensure that your vision is brought to life seamlessly. You are now construction-ready.
Construction Project Administration
We take pride in maintaining a strong connection with our clients even after the design process has ended. To ensure that we are there for them every step of the way during the construction process, we offer exceptional post-design services. Our team works relentlessly to ensure that even the smallest details in the design are executed to perfection, allowing our clients to sit back, relax, and enjoy the process. We collaborate with highly skilled independent landscape contractors and their trades to make our designs a reality, while also ensuring that the outcome is of the highest quality and exceeds our client’s expectations. Installation
The contractor will begin the installation process, which may take several weeks or months depending on the scope of the project. We visit the site to guarantee that the garden installation follows the goals and priorities that we set at the beginning of the design process. We finalize plant placement and hardscaping elements and make sure that we take advantage of any unforeseen opportunities for adjustments and details as the garden takes shape.
Final Walkthrough
Once the installation is complete, the designer will conduct a final walkthrough to ensure that everything meets your satisfaction.
